Chasing Sunsets + Ocean Waves

All my life I have been chasing sunsets and ocean waves.

Salty air and windblown hair.

Surfboards and sunshine.

Warm skin.

Palm trees.

Sandy skin.

And yet, I ended up here. Smack dab in the middle of the continent in the Canadian Prairies.

I still long for the ocean, the wind blowing through my hair.

The waves lapping at my feet.

Those early mornings sitting in the sand with a coffee in my hand.

But there is possibility here too.

Life is what you make of it, and why I can’t I live a beachy, ocean inspired life landlocked in the middle of the continent?

Who says it’s not possible?

We have lakes. 

We have water.

We have beachy vibes and soulful living.

I can create the life I want here and now.
